Much as I wanted to I really didn’t get the gist of this novel. Written in the 1950’s I thought that it had dated. The premises of the novel is excellent, a corrupt psychotic policeman goes on a killing spree. "The Killer Inside Me" is unique in that the story is told from the killers point of view and contains an interesting twist at the end. Despite this however the novel has not aged well.
