Having nothing to do last Tuesday and finding ourselves in the environs of Trinity College we decided to attend the lunchtime theatre in the Samuel Beckett Centre. The DUPlayers were putting on a performance of "The Tem Minuet Hamlet" by Tom Stoppard. We'll use that well worn cliche and say that we were rolling in the aisles.
The name “The 15 Minuet Hamlet” is a bit of a misnomer as the performance lasts approximately 22 minuets. Vivacious, hilarious and highly entertaining “The 15 Minuet Hamlet” is a pleasant way to spend your lunchtime. The performance begins at 1 o’clock and admission is €3, €2 for members.
We are currently grooving to the debut offering from The Artic Monkeys, "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not".

I remember we put on Stoppard's 15 minute Hamlet in college; managed to get it in around the 18-19 mins. mark. It was damn hard work but great fun!
And that Arctics album rocks for sure, got me shaking my old bones again.
